This online database contains the contents of these four series: 1) Children's Literature Review (CLR) which "provides researchers of children's literature with easy access to a wide variety of critical information from English language sources in the field. Users will find balanced overviews of the careers of the authors and illustrators of the books that children and young adults are reading", along with "excerpts from published criticism in books and periodicals." 2) Contemporary Literary Criticism (CLC) "provides readers with critical commentary and general information on more than 2,900 authors now living or who died after December 31, 1999. Volumes published from 1973 through 1999 include authors who died after December 31, 1959." 3) Nineteenth-Century Literature Criticism (NCLC) is "a valuable resource for students and librarians seeking critical commentary on writers of this transitional period in world history....The series has covered more than 500 authors representing 38 nationalities and over 28,000 titles." 4) Twentieth-Century Literary Criticism (TCLC) covers "more than 1000 authors, representing over 60 nationalities and nearly 50,000 titles."
